How can you help your child with...
Writing: Discuss how examples can help support reasons for have a certain opinion
Reading: Students should be completing their nightly homework for the weekly homework passage.
Have your child read for a minimum of 20 minutes each night. They should be reading both fiction and non-fiction.
Math: Fractions are everywhere. Ask you child various questions about fractional parts of things such as sharing a pizza, completing a portion of a task, fractional measurements in recipes, etc.
Science/SS: We are beginning our unit on the human body. Ask your child what they are learning.
Linking to our ELA block, we are discussing how citizens participate in their communities - encourage your child to be active in the community. Does your family participate in events that benefit the local community? the global community?
